Who We Are

Healthy Living 105 is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to building vibrant, health-conscious senior communities that support longer, healthier, and more fulfilling lives.

Our mission is to prevent cognitive decline and delay the onset of dementia by empowering older adults with the knowledge, tools, and community support needed to take charge of their brain and overall health. Our vision is to transform senior communities into thriving “Healthy Living Zones”—inspired by the world’s Blue Zones—where prevention, longevity, and quality of life go hand in hand.

We believe that dementia prevention is most effective when it is early, measurable, and actionable. By combining community engagement, evidence-based lifestyle strategies, and accessible technology, we are building a grassroots movement for healthier aging—starting with our flagship initiative, the Healthy Brain 105™ Program.

Our Focus

At Healthy Living 105, brain health and prevention are at the core of everything we do.

The Healthy Brain 105 Program is a structured, data-driven dementia prevention model designed to help older adults reduce cognitive risk before symptoms appear. The program integrates five core elements:

  1. Baseline cognitive assessment to establish an objective starting point
  2. Lifestyle risk assessment to identify modifiable contributors to cognitive decline
  3. Personalized lifestyle and health guidance tailored to individual risk profiles
  4. Ongoing education and coaching that translates science into practical daily actions
  5. Follow-up cognitive reassessment to measure outcomes and track progress over time

Together, these elements make dementia prevention measurable, trackable, and continuously improvable at both the individual and community level.

Our Approach

Proactive Prevention

Free, community-based cognitive checkups and lifestyle assessments enable early detection, risk stratification, and timely intervention.

Whole-Person Wellness

We focus on the lifestyle factors most strongly linked to brain health—physical activity, social and cognitive engagement, sleep quality, cardiovascular health, and nutrition—which also influence heart disease, stroke, and diabetes risk.

Community Engagement

Weekly group sessions, peer support, and club-based participation foster motivation, accountability, and sustained behavior change.

Technology-Enabled Solutions

Powered by AnyCARE Health, we use easy-to-use digital tools to collect lifestyle data, track progress over time, and deliver AI-assisted personalized health guidance, supporting both individual empowerment and population-level insights.

Founder’s Message

Cognitive decline and memory loss are some of the greatest health challenges facing our aging population today. Dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease, is now the most expensive disease in the U.S., surpassing cancer and heart disease in lifetime care costs. Yet, despite its devastating impact, there is still no cure.

At Healthy Living 105, we believe that prevention and early detection are the most effective ways to reduce the risk of dementia. Scientific research has shown that lifestyle choices play a crucial role in brain health, yet the current medical system remains focused on treatment rather than prevention. By the time dementia symptoms appear, it is often too late to intervene effectively. The responsibility of prevention falls on individuals and communities, but there has been a lack of structured support to guide these efforts—until now.

Healthy Living 105 is a community-driven initiative dedicated to helping individuals assess, monitor, and improve their cognitive health through evidence-based lifestyle strategies. Our Healthy Brain 105 Program provides accessible, data-driven solutions that empower individuals to take proactive steps in preserving their memory and cognitive function. Through our program, we evaluate lifestyle habits in five key areas—exercise, social engagement and cognitive stimulation, sleep, heart health, and diet—and translate them into a quantifiable lifestyle score. This score serves as a practical guide to brain-healthy living, helping participants make informed decisions about their daily habits.

We firmly believe that cognitive decline is not an inevitable part of aging. With early detection, lifestyle tracking, and community-based engagement, individuals can reduce their risk of memory loss and maintain cognitive resilience well into their later years. More importantly, the same healthy lifestyle changes that protect brain function also reduce the risks of heart disease, stroke, and diabetes, supporting longer, healthier lives.

With AnyCARE as our technology enabler, we bring together innovative tools and community-driven support to make brain health accessible to everyone. Quantified lifestyle scoring by AnyCARE Health transforms invisible cognitive risk into actionable prevention—well before dementia symptoms begin. The Healthy Brain 105 Program bridges the gap between research and real-world application, offering affordable, easy-to-use solutions that empower individuals and communities to take control of their cognitive well-being.

At Healthy Living 105, we are committed to changing the future of aging by promoting proactive brain health strategies. Together, we can shift the focus from treatment to prevention, helping individuals live healthier, sharper, and more fulfilling lives.

Prevention is not only better than cure—in dementia, it may be the only cure we’ll ever have.
